The Preservation Pencil allows you to direct moisture vapor where you want it - and at the temperature you want, from cool to hot mist. A great tool for removing animal glue, adhesive tapes, separating paper layers, delining, stain removal and cleaning and relaxing of paper and textiles. Engineered for use with an ultrasonic humidifier, cold mist produced by the humidifier is heated by attaching the pencil to it with a special hose assembly. Temperature adjustment is made by selecting the temperature which is then displayed on the top LCD display. The lower display will automatically and quickly adjust until the Pencil reached the level you have selected (from ambient to 100 degrees C). You may adjust the moisture/mist level on the humidifier to achieve just the right combination of heat and mist for your job. Because you are working with heated mist rather than steam, there is no ''spitting'' and minimal dripping. The Preservation Pencil is light and comfortable to use and comes with three different size attachments for dispersal flows of the heated mist.
